About Us

Climate Change

Where We Work

We collaborate with local governments, organizations and networks to build climate research expertise and adaptation in Africa. We have conducted and have ongoing research projects in Zambia, Gambia, Cameroon and Kenya.
We focus on African nations because:

  • African nations are the most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, even though they do not share the same burden of responsibility for global warming as the global north.
  • African nations face the greatest adaptation challenges due to poverty, poor climate change governance, including lack of adequate policies, Low climate change education, overreliance on natural resource livelihoods causing more environmental depletion etc
